46-year-old woman succumbs to

H1N1 took another life in the district with a 46-year-old woman succumbing to the deadly virus at a private hospital in city this morning. The deceased has been identified as Poornima, a resident of Banchallihundi village in Nanjangud taluk. With this death, the number of victims has increased to 7 this year in Mysuru.

Speaking to Star of Mysore, DHO Dr. B. Basavaraju said that Poornima, who was diagnosed for H1N1, was undergoing treatment at the private hospital since Jan. 31 where she succumbed this morning as the treatment proved futile.
