Okinawa Karate-Do Shorin Ryu Shorin Kai Association India had organised 17th Black Belt Awarding Ceremony and Summer Karate Championship Prize Awarding Ceremony 2017 on Apr. 16 at Gana Bharathi, Mysuru. The championship was inaugurated by Mysuru TP Member B.P. Kanne Gowda. Mysooru Mithra News Editor N.M. Mahadev presided over the function. Bogadi GP Vice President Savitha Naik, Former Corporator Sunanda Kumar, Championship Organising Committee Chairman T.K. Sukumaran were the chief guests. 28 Karatakes, belonging to Periyapatna (4), Bengaluru (10), Nanjangud (2) and Mysuru (12) were awarded the Black Belt. The event was organised by Kyoshi. S Sunil Kumar, Indian Representative of Okinawa Karate Do Shorinryu Shorin Kai.
