Kushalnagar: Heavy rain in Cauvery and Harangi catchment areas has contributed to the increase in water level at Harangi dam too, forcing CNNL authorities to discharge 25,000 cusecs of water into the river by yesterday evening.
The confluence of Cauvery and Harangi rivers near Kanive Ramalingeshwara Temple has led to a significant rise in water level. The hanging bridge built across the river has been attracting the tourists, from where they have been espying the river area. The water holes and streams in the surrounding are also witnessing a heavy water flow.
