Madappa Yogendra of Mysuru representing India in the 20th Asian Masters Athletic Championship 2017 at Rugao in China won the bronze medal in the men's 55plus 3000m Steeplechase event yesterday. China's Yang Guling won the gold with a timing of 12:34.83s and was followed by Bai Jun also from China with a timing of 12:56.07s. Another Mysuru athlete H.R. Ramaswamy secured fourth place in the men's 65plus 2000m steeplechase event.
