Mysuru: State JD(S) President and former Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy (HDK) kicked off the party’s poll campaign titled ‘Kumara Parva-2018’ atop Chamundi Hill this morning thus sounding the bugle for the 2018 electoral battle.
Kumaraswamy, accompanied by his wife Anitha Kumaraswamy, performed puja at Chamundeshwari Temple at around 8.30 am. Earlier in the day, former Prime Minister and State JD(S) Supremo H.D. Deve Gowda, accompanied by his wife Chennamma, sought the blessings of the deity at the Hill temple at around 7.30 am.
