A two-day National Seminar on 'Ornamental Plants - Scope, opportunities and challenges,' organised by Maharani's Science College for Women, commenced this morning at the college premises on JLB Road here.
Inaugurating the Seminar by watering a sapling, D. Manjunath, Deputy Director, Department of Horticulture, said that there were thousands of ornamental plants which should be explored based on commercial viability. He pointed out that ornamental plants were very sensitive and should be nurtured with extra care.
