15th Major Dhyanchand Memorial Hockey Tournament: VVCE, SBRR Mahajana FGC bag titles

Vidya Vardhaka College of Engineering(VVCE) and SBRR Mahajana FGC clinched the College boys and girls titles respectively in the 15th Major Dhyanchand Memorial Hockey Tournament 2017 conducted by National Sports Day Celebration Committee at the Chamundi Vihar Stadium here, yesterday. In the College boys final, Vidya Vardhaka College of Engineering beat St. Philomena's FGC 5-3 (via penalties) after being level 1-1 at full time. In the girls section, SBRR Mahajana FGC scored a 2-1 win over DOSPES, Mysuru (via penalties) after being equal 1-1 at full time.
