The Dasara Sports Committee & DYES, Government of Karnataka, jointly will be conducting the 13th Dasara Half Marathon-2017 on Sept. 24 at the University Oval Athletic Grounds at 6.30 am. The 21.1km Half-Marathon is a open event for men and women. An10km run for men and 6km run for women and 3km run for High School boys and 2km run for High School girls will also be conducted on this occasion. The winners in the Half-Marathon (M&W) will be given cash prizes of Rs.30,000, 25,000, 20,000, 15,000, 10,000 and 5,000 respectively. Cash prizes will also be given for winners (from one to six places) in the 10km run for men, 6km run for women, 3km run for High School boys and 2km run for High School girls. Online registration for the Marathon event can be done through website www.mysoredasara.gov.in Participants in the Open Run need to produce medical fitness certificate while registering. Bib numbers can be collected from Sept. 21 to 23 from 11 am to 4 pm at Lions Hall, Oval Grounds. For details contact Convener Srikanth on 94484-02048.
