115th Malaysian Amateur Golf Championships 2017: Yashas Chandra finishes third

Yashas Chandra of Mysuru emerged third in the recently held 115th Malaysian Amateur Golf Championships 2017 at Nexus Golf Resort, Karambunai, Malaysia. Sadom Kaewkanjana (Thailand) won the title in a play-off after being tied with fellow-countryman Witchayanon with a four-day score of 280. Yashas Chandra secured the second-runner-up sport with a four-day aggregate score of 285 (71+70+77+67). In the team event, India finished fourth with Yashas Chandra and Sunit Chowrasia returning with a four-day aggregate score of 300 (77+71+82+70). Thailand, Singapore and Taiwan secured the first three places.
