Mysore/Mysuru: The National Institute of Engineering (NIE), an Autonomous Institution under Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, conducted its 11th Graduation Day at the NIE Diamond Jubilee Indoor Sports Complex on Manandavadi Road, Mysuru recently. In all, 1,045 students graduated and the provisional degree certificates and rank certificates were awarded to the students by the dignitaries. Among them, 42 B.E., 24 M.Tech. and 3 MCA rank holders received the gold medals while 4 faculty members received gold medals for completing their Ph.Ds at NIE Research Centre.
Jitendra J. Jadhav, Director, National Aerospace Laboratories, Bengaluru, who was the chief guest, delivered the graduation address. Dr. M.S. Ranganath, President, NIE, presided. Dr. N.V. Raghavendra, Principal, welcomed. Dr. Shabana Sultana, Controller of Examinations, proposed a vote of thanks.
